The shovel has a moulded grip under the handle for the comfort of your fingers. The four-pronged fork is strong and can be used for digging into soil and raking the soil back over the seeds or around your seedlings and plants.

The secateurs have a larger grip to fit nicely into your hands and give firm cutting strength, for removing unwanted plant material and cutting flowers for arrangement. For those harder to cut branches which may be dead hardwood or too big for the secateurs, we do not advise forcing the cut. We suggest you use larger pruners for this.

I suppose 'better late that never' I just want to say thank you for giving me the set of gardening tools some time ago. I'm a very keen gardener and I've never had any success with secateurs. I have several but there's something wrong with each of them.
So this is a big thumbs up for the set you gave me. I absolutely love the secateurs. They're sharp with an easy catch and best of all because they're so pretty I have taken great care of them cleaning them and looking after them after use. Because of the look of the set I find them fun to use........(sounds a bit girly) but there is definitely a psychological message there. I'm thinking I'll have to get a pretty pair of gardening gloves to match!!
