The lure does not contain a liquid and should not be cut and no attempt should be made to open it. It is preferable to use tweezers and not handle the lure if possible.
The pheromone has been captured in the plastic and dissipates into the air over the period of time (indicated on the foil packaging) after opening the foil and removing the lure.
